Biography

Maria Mentzou

Vocals

Born in 1983 in Athens and grew up in  N Artaki. Tallented from small, with particular tendency in painting, in singing and in sports. Afterwards the Lyceum study in Dimokriteio University of Thrace, Physical Education and Sports in. In 2010 get degree of specialisation with scholarship, in the I.A.F.A. College. Participated in scientific conferences and training seminars of Physical Education and has taken part in championships and contests with a lot of discriminations. She is coach of: Handball, Shooting, Archery ,She is responsible of entertainment via exercising of mass sports and sports for children, Personal Trainer, Group Trainer and Aerobic Instructor. Works as gymnastic teacher  - trainer in athletic associations and gyms. In step with her athletic activities, in 2008 take courses of vocals with teacher Michaela Paras, in the musical laboratory `'The Vokal Lab'' in Chalcis. Has collaborated with the musical group Albatross in a lot of appearances. Participated in‘Musical Breaths’ with conductor Petros Prokos in the Theatre Papadimitriou Chalcis and in different cultural events. She writes lyrics , she sings and participates in  musical appearances of bands in Chalcis and in the musical band `'ULALUM''.She is member of the Cultural Association of Artists and Friends `'ArtEvia''.

Thomas Lepiroglou

Vocals

Born in Chalcis in 1977 and grew up in  N. Artaki, Evia. His love for singing, led him to study  classic song to the Conservatory of  Aliveri, with professor Pavlina Matraka. Continued the studies in Conservatory 'Arion', Chalcis , where in 2008 get diploma of phonetics with professor the composer Helen Gaitatzi. Since 2010 take courses of modern song with professor Katerina   Oikonomidi. Participated in the theatrical team of Municipality of N.Artaki with teacher the director Athanassios Aggelou and in the department of traditional dances of Cultural Centre in N. Artaki, with  teachers I. Kebrekidis, M. Tsopanikou and L. Gianakaras. After the Lyceum he study in the IEK of Information technology of N. Artaki. Took seminars of tourist training in the Municipal Faculty of Tourist Professions in Rhodes and maintains the catering enterprise ‘Aeriko’, in  N Artaki. As singer  has participated in musical groups, in festivals and musical events of cultural institutions and Municipalities. He is member of musical group `'ULALUM'' and Cultural  Association of Artists and Friends `'ArtEvia''.

Georgios Rachoutis

Drums

Born in 1981 in Athens and grew up in Evia. Child of artists, evolved with art and music since his childhood. In age of 8 years  began taking courses of music in keyboards and continued with drums in the  'Eubean  Concervatory' of Chalcis. Participated as drummer in the creation of musical group with his friends, in  N. Artaki.  Afterwards the Lyceum and the artistic education in the `'Eubean Centre of Art', start his studies in the Faculty of Fine Arts of Catania. In 2004 get diploma of sculpture from the Academy of Fine Arts of Rome. Has presented his work in collective exhibitions , international organisations, art biennale and artistic competitions, with a lot of discriminations and awards.Maintains laboratory in the N. Artaki, Evia and teaches drawing and sculpture in the `'Eubean Centre of Art'',Chalcis.  He is member of the Chamber of Figurative Arts in Greece,  of the musical group `'ULALUM'' and of the Cultural Association of Artists and Friends `'ArtEvia''.

Georgios Petalas

Guitar

Born in Chalcis in 1983 and grew up in  N. Artaki, Evia. His musical education began in the age of 14 years with teacher, Dimitris Kikidis. Took lessons of guitar, with scholarship as exceptional talent, for 3 years, in the “Eubean Conservatory” of Chalcis, with teacher Nikos Sokos. Continued theory and harmony of music in Conservatory I Pantazatou. Participated with his friends in the creation of musical group and began the first appearances with the Town hall band of the cultural department in N. Artaki. Afterwards the Lyceum, study in the chef school `'Le  Monde'in Athens. Worked as sound director  in the studio of music of Eubean Conservatory in Chalcis. Has taken part in groups, in musical events and festival of cultural institutions and Municipalities. He is member of the musical form `'ULALUM'' and  of the Cultural Association of Artists and Friends `'ArtEvia''.

Georgios Skordas

Bass

Born in Athens in 1982 and grew up in  N. Artaki, Evia. With father musician and musical hearings since his childhood, began courses of piano for 7 years.  Studied music for 10 years in the “Conservatory,  Chalbatzis” in Chalcis. The period of his puberty, learns guitar and  participates in the creation of musical group with his friends, in  N. Artaki, where  begins also the first appearances in `'live audience''. While studying the Lyceum and having his musical interests, learn and practise the jewellery art technique in the laboratory of E. Anagnostakis  in  N. Artaki. The period of his military service, is classified in the Musical Department Athens and watches the Faculty of Buglers of Mytilini. Participated in musical appearances of  the military band, in public spaces and in the Palace of Music of Athens. Has collaborated with a lot of Greek musicians, and has taken part in musical groups, in festivals and musical events of cultural institutions and Municipalities. He is member of musical group `'ULALUM'' and Cultural Association of Artists and Friends `'ArtEvia''.
